Designer, 2 Years at Aabani

I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, NC in January 2020, and began working at Aabani in March of the same year, right as the pandemic was looming. As I began my journey as a stylist during this challenging time, management was cognizant of our constantly changing world and conscious of the safety of others. Meanwhile, Aabani provided its team and clients unique options with respect to each person’s individual preferences. 


In my two years working at Aabani, I have found the most creative and kind community in both management and my colleagues. Not only are the stylists around me superbly talented and willing to foster a community of collaboration, but they are also kind-hearted people who care deeply for the community in which they serve. Knowing that my talents are valued, and my growth is encouraged, is perhaps one of the best parts of working at this establishment. 


I have been fortunate to also consistently communicate closely with Brandi, who is flexible and accommodating to her employees. I am ever so grateful to be in a work environment such as this. Aabani has supplied me with the comfort and confidence needed to grow both personally and professionally.
